Since its humble start in 1952 with room for just 40 dogs, the Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) has blossomed into a 38,000-square-foot no-kill sanctuary. Embracing its no-kill mission in 2009, HSSC now saves over 3,000 animals each year, sheltering more than 200 at a time. This radiant haven works tirelessly to reunite pets with their families and ensure no animal endures hardship while awaiting a forever home.
For Alison, this mission is personal. Her heart beats for animals, driven by a passion to ensure they live lives filled with love and loyalty. Having rescued two dogs in the U.S. and one from Greece in 2023, Alison embodies HSSC’s spirit. Are animals your passion too? Connect with Alison and join the fight to save lives—one furry friend at a time!
